My blog

I am a children’s writer seeking agent representation. My debut picture book Supermoon was released in November 2024 by Tielmour Press, closely followed by Outside the Box in May 2025 with HB Publishing House. My new picture book - Why No Rhino? - will be published in September 2026 by New Frontier Publishing.

I have also had several write-for-hire commissions including over 10 board books and two picture books.

I started writing picture books in summer 2018. I graduated from the Golden Egg Academy’s Picture Book Programme in 2020 and have also completed Curtis Brown Creative’s online picture book course and Writing Magazine’s Writing for Children course tutored by Amy Sparkes.

In July 2020 I won first place in the Winchester Writers’ Festival Picture Book competition and in early 2022 I was awarded first place in Glittery Literary’s Cherished Children’s Story competition. I have been longlisted twice in Write Mentor’s Picture Book Awards, and was shortlisted for their magazine competition. I have also been longlisted in Writing Magazine’s Picture Book Prize. I have been a finalist in Susanna Leonard Hill’s Holiday contest (4th overall), Halloweensie contest (13th overall), and Valentiny contest (12th overall). I was a winner of Vivian Kirkfield’s 50 Precious Words and have received honourable mentions in lots of other contests.

I have children’s poems published in Caterpillar Magazine, The School Magazine, The Dirigible Balloon, Tyger Tyger, PaperBound, Little Thoughts Press, Buzgaga and Parakeet Magazine. I have also been inspired to set up my own printed press called The Toy.
